with detailed instructions

By Larry Mays, SVP Worldwide

In case you haven't heard the exciting news, SVP has launched a new embroidery design product along with the help of world-renowned Australian embroiderer Janet Sansom. This partnership is very special in that it brings together the names of two key players in the embroidery design realm – INSPIRA® by SVP and Janet Sansom.

Janet specializes in quality, classic embroidery designs, catering in particular to home embroiderers who want an exclusive look for their embroidered quilts and home decorator items. Janet has been designing and digitizing custom embroidery for more than 15 years. Her designs have sold in more than 20 countries around the world. With this new collaboration, SVP is adding a new level of artwork, allowing the imagination of customers to expand their embroidery experiences.

"We wanted a very different and unique product to include in our 2017 embroidery design catalogue," said Mikael Mårtensson, Global Director of SVP software products. Mårtensson, currently living in Sweden, has years of experience with selecting and managing the delivery of embroidery designs, and currently leads the SVP embroidery design group based in Sweden.

SVP has over 25,000 embroidery designs in its extensive embroidery design catalogue. "Previously we used our in-house design team, but for our new PFAFF Creative Icon launch, I wanted something different," Mårtensson said.

The SVP team interviewed many digitizers from around the globe before selecting Janet to develop its first-ever exclusive collection of designs for INSPIRA®.

"We are very excited about our new relationship with Janet and we love the creative expression in the work she has done for us," Mårtensson said.

This unique collection launched at the SVP convention in Las Vegas, in conjunction with the new PFAFF Creative Icon sewing and embroidery machine and a list of other Aftermarket products. The collection features more than 30 embroideries in the hoop size 150x150 and 200x200mm, along with the detailed instructions on how to create the quilt.

"We believe this is a great new direction forward," Mårtensson said. "To partner with globally-recognized embroidery designers who are leveraging their special talents exclusively for SVP is an incredible opportunity. Janet Sansom is the first of many artists who will be creating innovative designs that will highlight the unique attributes and features of our new Creative Icon sewing machine."

Please spread the word about this exclusive relationship and this collection. This is something really special expected to gain immediate market traction.
Stay tuned!
