William Harold Knight Jr.,
Harold Knight Sewing Machines
1949 –

William Harold Knight Jr.“If we don’t have it, we can get it.”

This is William Harold Knight Jr.’s favorite saying, and it proves just how dedicated he is to serving his customers.

William was raised in the sewing machine/vacuum cleaner business by his father and mother, Harold and Lucille Knight. As he learned the secret to customer satisfaction, he discovered it was no secret — only a little kindness could bring in a lifetime of customers.

Harold Knight Sewing Machines is the oldest independent dealer in the state of Mississippi. It was established in 1948, and its customers travel from Jackson to the coast of Mississippi and Alabama. William and his wife Snookie also own a second store in Hattiesburg, MS.

William treats every one of his customers with top priority, and he personally works on all machine repairs at both stores in Laurel and Hattiesburg, MS. When his customers leave, whether they are taking home their vacuum or sewing machine, they know it’s received top quality service.

William’s success as a professional business owner and sew and vac technician stems from skills learned through classes at annual trade conventions and his certification as an ISMDA sewing machine technician.
