"Using Special Financing & Bundled Pricing to Sell More Top-End Sewing Machines"
Feb. 28, 8:30 am - 10 am, New Orleans Convention Center

Featured Speakers were:

George Moore photoGeorge Moore of Moore's Sewing Centers is part of a third generation sewing machine family that has been in business for over 60 years. He has five locations is southern California with over 65 employees. George has traveled to many parts of the county selling at County fairs and International Shows. Part of his success has been the ability to create packages, especially for high end machines, where a customer will trade in their existing machine to receive the greatest discount and the dealer maintains high profit margins. He uses financing to help impulse the sale as well as cash discounts where the customer and dealer both win.

Donny Cathey photoDonny Cathey of Cathey's Sewing & Vacuum stores in Tucson, AZ, uses special events at outside venues featuring sewing celebrities and offers bundled pricing to maintain profitability plus financing as a closing option. Donny will share his tips to holding successful events in small to mid market areas that are both fun and profitable. Donny and his wife Janice own and operate two Cathey's Sew & Vac stores in Tucson, AZ. They are a second and third generation store originating in 1954. They employ 30 plus people, full and part-time. Cathey's carries four major brands of sewing machines and sergers . In 2007, Cathey's Sew & Vac made the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Steve Wilson photoSteve Wilson is the owner and designer at Anita Goodesign. Anita Goodesign is an industry leader in stock designs, education and successful dealer programs. At the 2011 SewCess event Steve presented: "How to Host a $300,000 Embroidery Event." For the 2012 SewCess Steve is returning to the stage to share ideas and the formula for hosting smaller events in your store. Not everyone has the staff or ability to host a large scale event out of their store. This seminar is for the rest of us. You will learn marketing, pricing tips and all of the secrets to success. This class is a must if you want to take your business to the next level. Full color handouts and Cd-Roms will be given to everyone who attends the class.
