Industry Products A New Take On Tradition The Nobu Fujiyama Lotus & Koi Collections from Kona Bay Fabrics
Kona Bay Fabrics is proud to announce its latest releases from the Nobu Fujiyama line. The Lotus and Koi collections are striking examples of the fine tradition of Japanese textile art, bringing the practice of art-on-fabric to contemporary quilt fabrics that are sure to dazzle and inspire. In Japanese religious tradition, the Buddha is said to have risen out of the center of a lotus blossom. The flower symbolizes rebirth, and also all that is true, just and beautiful, representing good fortune, peace and enlightenment. Its harmonious representation in the Lotus collection pays homage to its serene origins, while inspiring beauty and peace through the designs themselves. The two primary fabrics come in aqua and black, with four complementary designs in a variety of colorways that offer a myriad of options to coordinate and construct a fabric art piece of one’s own.
Kona Bay will continue to release new Nobu Fujiyama art-on-fabric in months to come. As always, this and many other new fabric releases can be viewed online at www.konabay.com. Reprinted from SQE Professional, September 2008 |
