New fabric designs from Henry Glass & Co.

Posies by Bev Proulx
Bev Proulx’s fascination with fabrics of the 1930s led to her collection of quilts, quilt tops, blocks, and feed sacks from that decade. She found the textiles had both pastel and bold colors that strongly appealed to Depression women who watched their pennies. Because those women also had gardens,  Bev uses flowers for her first line of Authentic Prints from the 1930s  for Henry Glass & Company. The line is aptly named “Posies,” for Bev’s grandmother always called her garden flowers by that name.

Miss Emma’s Garden by Anne Sutton
Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs loves the softer color palettes, and she uses them throughout her home decorating. Miss Emma’s Garden came from her love of the romantic look. Anne wanted a fabric that would be perfectly suited for both home decorating and quilting. Miss Emma’s Garden was named after her friend Kimberly Jolly’s new baby Emma. Emma Jolly was born just before the fabric line made its debut!

Serenity by Heather Peterson
Serenity was inspired by designer Heather Peterson’s love of the trendy colors and prints used in home decorating right now. The assortment of florals, prints, and stripes work well in quilts and home decor. The line will also appeal to a variety of ages or generations. The larger scale prints and colors are popular with the 20- and 30-something crowd, while the soft florals will appeal to the more traditional quilter The overall look is fresh, yet serene -- thus Serenity!

Race-A-Rama by Shelly Benton
Formula 1 cars whiz by in bright primaries. Checkered flags and trophies tell a victorious speedway story by Shelly Benton. Being a mom of a young boy herself, Shelly saw a need for fresh and innovative prints in this category. Race-A-Rama is a big crowd pleaser for Henry Glass & Co.
