ESSCO launches Cirrus Performance Pet Center
ESSCO is proud to introduce an exciting line of products designed to target pet owners. Pet owners are part of a $45 billion market for pet products in the United States and represent an exciting opportunity to increase profits and floor traffic at the independent dealer level.
The centerpiece of the performance pet center is the Cirrus Performance Pet Edition vacuum cleaner. The model C-CR99 comes with all the features that dealers have come to enjoy from the Cirrus line with some exciting improvements for pets. The unit features a Hepa filter and Hepa type bags for greater indoor air quality as well as a carbon filter to help eliminate pet odors. The unit features an aggressive 14-inch brushroll for pet hair pickup and includes an air driven upholstery tool for furniture and stairs. The unit comes boxed in a very exciting full color box with pet and child graphics and the unit itself has graphics that are pet related.
The market for pet vacuums has exploded in recent years and consumers are very aware of the category from many national advertising campaigns by big box manufacturers and are actively searching for pet related products at retail. The Cirrus Performance Pet Edition vacuum is the only pet related vacuum cleaner that is only available to independent dealers. There is now no reason for dealers to turn away pet vacuum business or be forced to carry low margin mass merchant vacuum cleaners to satisfy consumers who are looking for a solution to pet related floor care problems. The balance of the Cirrus Performance Pet Center includes a very well rounded mix of products designed for the pet owner. One of the main goals in the creation of the Performance Pet Center is to truly make the shelf space a dedicated area for pet owners. The advantage to having a dedicated Pet Center is the ability to show a pet owner many solutions to pet related problems that the consumer might encounter and also allow for easy add-on sales to the same consumer. Customers who do not buy a product demonstrated immediately have been shown to remember and return to the dealer’s Pet Center if the need ever arises for a pet related product.
The Performance Pet Center includes products that dealers will already have on their shelves but by consolidating pet related products in one area even existing SKU’S will show increased sales. New products include pet care wipes, pet shampoo, house training aids and cleaners, an ultraviolet sanitizing wand, urine removers and much more.
