Do you sell Sulky Rayon Thread?

Sulky of America has been engaged in a campaign to make retailers and consumers aware of the Sulky ENKA association that produces the very highest quality Rayon Threads available anywhere in the world. As part of this campaign, Sulky has made available to all retailers who are selling Sulky Rayon Thread in 30 wt. and 40 wt., a new, FREE, full-color sign for the top of their display that features the attractive, new Sulky/ENKA symbol.

Retailers can order their new FREE signs by calling 1-800-874-4115, Option #8. In order for Sulky personnel to determine which display(s) the retailer has (so the correct sign(s) can be sent), before calling, the retailer should have the answers to the following questions:

  • Is your display wooden or clear acrylic?
  • Does it stand on the floor, hang from the wall, or sit on a counter?
  • How many spools wide is it?
  • How many trays tall is it?
  • Are the majority of the spool sizes the small 250 yd. Snap spool, the larger 850 yd. King size, or the 1500 yd. Maxi spool?
  • Does your wooden fixture have a thread topper on it? If so, is this included in your “number of trays” calculation above?
  • Is there a 6-pocket book section on top of the display?
  • Is there a 9-pocket wire display next to a 30” wide wooden display?
  • About how long have you had this unit?
  • What other Sulky Threads are in the display? Original Metallics? Sliver Metallics? Holoshimmer Metallics? Bobbin Thread? Invisible Thread? King size Original Metallics?

Along with the new signs, in most cases, the retailer will also receive a new color finder for wooden floor fixtures that will greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to find any Sulky color in the display.

To put on the top of their display, the retailer will also receive a pad of small consumer handouts that describe, “What does the Sulky/ENKA symbol mean to me?” This tells the story about how “All Sulky Rayon Threads are made exclusively from ENKA fibers, tested and proven to be the highest quality Rayon/Viscose fibers in the world. That’s why Sulky has been awarded the prestigious ENKA symbol that is joined with the Sulky symbol.”
