Blank Quilting finds inspiration in new designer

Antique inspiration is a new classic at Blank Quilting. Fabric maven Mary Koval joins the Blank Quilting team.

Internationally known for her work in antique reproductions, Mary brings years of experience, creativity and innovation in fabric design to her collections.

Having worked with 18th and 19th Century quilts for more than 30 years, Mary is a preeminent authority in the field of antique quilts. Her private collection encompasses more than 100,000 pieces of antique fabrics; these precious pieces of history are the source of Mary’s inspiration for her designs.

Her work as a dealer and renovator of antique quilts has deemed her intrinsic understanding of heirloom fabric; this appreciation and mastery nourish the artistry of her collections which are certain to become new classics.

“I’m very excited to be working with Blank,” said Mary. “They are an innovative company and they’re growing. I’m excited to be a part of that growth.”

Mary Koval’s first collection with Blank Quilting will appear at Fall Quilt Market.
