Web site can help drive customers to your store!

Customers looking for information regarding TORNADOPOWER™ Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths and where to buy the product, are seeking out TORNADOPOWER on the World Wide Web.

TORNADOPOWER cloths are the simple and effective way for central vac owners to clean, maintain, deodorize and test their entire vac system. The cloths are specially formulated and textured to capture dirt and grime residue that exist in the hose and tubing of the central vacuum system. Also, when pulled through the system, these cloths capture larger debris (such as pebbles and lint) and deliver them to the canister, eliminating potentially harmful blockages. Finally, the moistened cloths “wipe down” the inside walls of hoses and tubing, leaving the entire system smelling fresh and clean.

Lisa Corwin of Wincor Inc. said that since its launch just over a year ago, the TORNADOPOWER Web site (www.tornadocloth.com) has received more than 120,000 hits. Many visitors to the site simply want to know where they can purchase the product.

“Certainly one of the most popular sections on our site is the dealer locator section,” said Corwin. “There, central vac users across the country can search for a TORNADOPOWER dealer in their area. If a local dealer is not listed for their area, they can contact Wincor Inc. for additional information.”

Corwin says that in cases where a local dealer is not found, Wincor Inc. will try to contact a local central vac dealer to carry the product. Or, if the dealer is already purchasing TORNADOPOWER cloths from one of several industry resellers, Wincor Inc. can refer the customer to them for follow-up.

Keith Yale of Vac Express in Federal Way, WA, said TORNADOPOWER Central Vacuum Maintenance Cloths are a great product, and they have benefited from their listing on the TORNADOPOWER Web site.

“I recently received a call from a woman who was looking for information on TORNADOPOWER cloths and had found our name on the Web site’s dealer locator,” he said. “I explained to her the product benefits, and we ended up not only selling her a canister but also performing a service call.”
