VACUFLO® Leads the Way with Central Vacuum Hose Management Solutions at VDTA 2010 At this year's VDTA Convention, hose management solutions took center-stage at the VACUFLO® booth as well as the H-P Products sponsored central vacuum installation training. The hottest category in central vacuums today is hose management accessories. From whole-house solutions that cover thorough cleanings, to quick clean-up products that clean an area or specific point of a house, hose management is a category that central vacuum dealers cannot ignore. VACUFLO is leading the way in the hose management category by offering comprehensive solutions for all cleaning applications. Hide-A-Hose for whole-house cleaning, Vroom for zone or room cleaning and Spot for a specific job or “spot” in the house. All three were showcased at the VACUFLO booth at this year's VDTA Show. Hide-A-Hose is a space-saving retractable hose system that stores up to 50 feet of hose within the wall. With the Hide-A-Hose system, users simply pull out the length of hose needed for their cleaning job, connect a TurboCat powerhead, and begin vacuuming. When finished, the system harnesses the suction from the central vacuum power unit to retract the hose back into the PVC tubing installed within the walls of the home. Vroom quick clean vacuum system is the solution for everyday cleanups in high-traffic areas, storing up to 24 feet of hose in a 3-inch space-saving box design. Vroom is designed to be installed in standard cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and other busy areas of the home. VACUFLO previewed the new Vroom unit at the show. Available this July, the new Vroom boasts improved product features including an air-relief valve and hose lock for easier hose use and less pull-back. Made from an ABS molded material, the new Vroom is one-third lighter then the previous version and has a sleek new look. In addition, the new Vroom will be available with a special bracket to allow the Vroom to be installed in a garage in a service-bay type of application. While Hide-A-Hose covers the entire house and Vroom a high-traffic room, Spot is designed for every day messes in a particular area of the home. In the laundry room, Spot is the perfect lint remover for the dryer. In the mudroom, Spot cleans up tracked in leaves, dirt and other debris on shoes and sporting equipment. In the pet's area, Spot is great for cleaning up spilled dog food and scattered kitty litter. Spot is readily available, installed conveniently close to where you'll want to clean and boasts a 10' hose reach, To clean, you simply access the hose from the valve, flip the switch and clean the mess. When finished, the power of the central vacuum system automatically retracts the hose out of sight. All three products were covered during VACUFLO's Hose Management Solution Seminar during VDTA. Dealers were able to see the products in action and the benefits they offer to customers. Installation of these products was also discussed during the Central Vacuum Installation Training seminar, held at a local new-construction site. H-P Products Training Manager Chris Slackford led attendees through all proper installation steps for these unique hose management products. Also new to this year's VDTA Show was VACUFLO's comprehensive Point-of-Purchase Display. The newly revamped display offers dealers an easy way to showcase and demo the hose management products of Hide-A-Hose, Vroom and Spot as well as a standard valve and VacPan. VACUFLO has complete literature and display support packages for all their products available for its dealers.
