The New Ecobox

The Ecobox is a powerhouse of a little purifier and it fills a niche everyone has been looking to satisfy. It’s perfect for a small area or room up to 1500 square feet and it utilizes all the latest Active Pure RCI technology just like the Fresh Air 2.1.

New technology was used for the ionizer, and another new technological change on the Ecobox is the use of pulse ionization. An expert from the University of Cincinnati experimented with various sequences and determined that 20 seconds of positive ionization followed by 10 seconds of positive ionization was the ideal pattern. When you look carefully at the front face of the Ecobox on the left side, you will see the negative ionization needle about 1/3 from the top and the positive ionization needle 2/3 from the top. They never operate at the same time.

According to Alexandria Barnett of Air Purifiers, Inc., this new style of ionization helps reduce the “gray” wall effect and improves the radiant catalytic ionization effect.

She said, “Historically, we know a needle point ionizer is excellent one room ionization. Best of all, this unit is available in Canada and virtually worldwide. We see this air purifier’s main applications as being offices, bedrooms, dorm rooms, hotel rooms, nursing home rooms and the like. The Ecobox is not a Fresh Air 2.1. It will not purify a whole house, but for those smaller areas in an office or home, it is perfect.”

Barnett added, “Five million dollars was spent in development and scientific testing and field testing of this air purifier before it was made available.”

Some specifics: The unit runs on 15 volts DC and consumes 20 watts of power in the normal mode and 30watts in the away mode. It has a three-speed fan and has an available cigarette lighter attachment.

It’s the stuff outside the box that counts
