GE Money reflects on 2007 VDTA/SDTA Show by Teresa Saunders, GE Money The annual VDTA/SDTA Show is one of my favorite annual events, and the 2007 show was no exception. For the professional sewing shop, the VDTA/SDTA Show offered state-of-the-art machines, ergonomic sewing cabinetry, innovative software packages and too many clever, innovative accessories to name. For the vacuum professional, you had every shape and size of vacuum, central systems, new accessories and all of the things needed in the dust removal industry. What both the sewing and vacuum industries have in common is that GE Money is there to offer financing for both products through the Home Source Program. And, as you may already know, all products and services can be financed through the Home Source Program and every purchase qualifies for 90-day financing at no cost to you! The Home Source Finance Program is well known in the industry for being fast, easy and a critical tool in increasing retailer sales. The average Home Source sewing sale is $1,700 and the average vacuum sale is $650. The average bankcard sale is $155. When a customer has a Home Source card from your store they not only spend more, but they make more repeat purchases and are more loyal to your store. The average Home Source cardholder makes two purchases within a 12-month period. Imagine someone walking into your store, hoping they have enough money to buy your product. Instead, by getting them approved for a Home Source card, you can up sell that customer to a higher end product with more features, additional accessories or services that you offer. And the customer now has the option of either no interest promotions or affordable monthly payments that fit their budget. Increase your sales and profits by offering the Home Source Finance Program!
