The most prominent design feature of the Filtropur Commercial™ is that it always maintains the canister in a vertical position when the vacuum is in use, allowing the cyclonic action to continuously keep the filter cone clean, maximizing airflow and providing greater cleaning ability. Most cyclonic vacuums have the handle attached to the canister, where its angle is horizontal, rendering the vacuum less efficient. Among the other features of the Filtropur Commercial™ are on-board attachments for every type of vacuuming job, a hose that stores at a compact 27-inch loop, but expands to 13 feet, so all of the furniture in the room or a flight of stairs can be easily cleaned without moving the vacuum. It also has a Hi-Low speed switch for powerful suction for floors and carpet or gentle suction for upholstery or fine drapes. The Filtropur™ Sanitizing Filtration System, which is rated as a Class II medical device, consists of a sealed filtration system to capture 99.99% of particles that are .3 microns in size, while killing up to 100% of airborne contaminants without the use of ozone. This portable room air cleaner is certified to kill 94%-100% of mold/fungus, 98%-100% of bacteria and 99%-100% of viruses. “This helps to drastically reduce the opportunities for illness” said Weeter. “The air inside of the home is 200% to 500% more polluted than outside. With poor indoor air quality, pollutants can irritate existing allergies.” The SFS is ideally suited to a 500 square foot area. The exclusive Filtropur™ SFS technology resulted from a Department of Defense grant focused on germ warfare and was developed by a team of indoor air quality experts who have designed and manufactured customized indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions for the federal government and corporations worldwide. 18 KV of electricity routed through the filter area deprives microorganisms of nutrients needed to survive, thereby yielding the certified kill rates. The SFS filtration capability is actually better than HEPA with an efficiency rating of 99.99% that surpasses that of HEPA and the less dense SFS filter media has four times the particle holding capacity as a similar sized HEPA. This less dense filter also translates into superior air flow, especially on the “QUIET” or “LOW”setting, providing enough CFM to properly clean the required space.
