Wincor Inc. launches new CVAC Tracker™ Prepaid Maintenance
Program for central vacuum dealers

At the recent VDTA Show in Las Vegas, representatives of Wincor Inc. unveiled their newest product offering called CVAC Tracker™.

CVAC Tracker is a unique planned maintenance program for central vacuum dealers to offer their customers. With CVAC Tracker, Wincor, Inc. will record a central vac dealer’s customer service agreements in a dealer database. Wincor Inc. will maintain the database for the dealer, sending reminder mailings to both the customer and the dealer to remind them of upcoming service appointments and/or deadlines. The program is designed to help dealers easily add profits, build recurring revenue and enhance the service side of their business.

After learning about CVAC Tracker, Javis Noel at The Noel Group said he is very excited about the potential that a planned maintenance program presents for his dealership.

“A dealer like me could use CVAC Tracker to fill the slower periods of their schedule with scheduled maintenance calls,” he said. “This process would help to keep the money flowing all year long, even during bad weather times. Plus, once you built up the number of customers you have on these service contracts, a dealer could keep a service tech busy full time, which has the potential to add considerable profit for the dealership.”

In addition, Noel added that planned maintenance programs like CVAC Tracker could offer several additional benefits. Something as simple as a service reminder provides an opportunity for the customer to be proactively involved in system maintenance by calling in and scheduling service which would be great for customer relations.

“Having a person full time in the field doing pre-paid maintenance calls would greatly enhance PR and word-of-mouth for my dealership, as well,” he said. “For example, when a customer talks to another central vac user about a system that is not working right, the customer would recommend us to get that system working right, and that leads to more sales opportunities for us.”

Camile Parent at Peterborough Vacuum in Peterborough, ON, said he likes the idea of a turnkey program that does not require any expensive software, list maintenance or advanced computer training.

“I have been doing extended warranties for a long time, and it is a great way to capture additional profits,” he said. “CVAC Tracker is a great concept that will translate well to central vacuums and provide customers with peace of mind. In fact, pre-paid maintenance for central vacuums is something I have been wanting to do for a long time.”
