Industry Products Boost your central vacuum sales & profits with DrawerVac -- a unique new CVS accessory! DrawerVac LLC has completed the design and testing of its namesake product DrawerVac™--the only product on the market today extending the routine use of central vacuum systems to household countertops. Mounted out of sight behind cabinet doors, within a cabinet drawer, or in a “breadboard” configuration within the countertop itself, DrawerVac can be positioned to receive the debris from kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, hobby room, and workshop countertops. DrawerVac is also designed to extend the routine use of central vacuum systems to numerous commercial applications, such as receiving debris from desks, work stations, drafting boards, and restaurant tables and counters. Mounted to the underside of a countertop and connected to a central vacuum system, users simply pull DrawerVac’s tray forward, thereby opening the central vacuum inlet and activating the system, and then hand-sweep debris into the suction stream. When finished, the user pushes the tray back under the countertop, sealing the central vacuum inlet and turning off the vacuum motor. Conceived by innovative homebuilder John Ryan as an “upgrade” to further distinguish the custom homes he sells, DrawerVac has been under design, development, and testing for nearly a year. A U.S. patent application was filed last summer (Patent Pending U.S. 11/500, 213), and foreign patent applications are being filed in the major industrialized countries in March 2007. Because bids for the manufacture of DrawerVac are still being obtained, the initial pricing for the device has not yet been set, although it is anticipated that the sales price will be in the $40 range. Deliveries to central vacuum dealers and distributors are planned to commence in early Summer 2007, and will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those interested in obtaining more information on DrawerVac, including sales price, delivery, and warranty information, should contact DrawerVac LLC, P. O. Box 6429, Boise, ID 83707; phone/fax 1-208-336-1565; e-mail info@drawervac.com. A listing of interested dealers and distributors is being maintained, so that notice of current pricing and delivery information can be furnished when a contract for the manufacture of DrawerVac is awarded.
