Edelen Wille Vintage Design, now on fabric for Marcus!

Marcus Brothers Textiles Inc. is pleased to announce a new fabric design collaboration with Edelen Wille, a company that interprets vintage motifs for the young and the young-at-heart. By finding new uses for authentic vintage artwork, Edelen Wille successfully brings nostalgic charm into the modern era for the home, garden, and baby. Now, quilters and crafters can capture the nostalgic innocence of the early 20th Century with Edelen Wille’s debut fabric collection.

The first collections are holiday-themed groups suitable for quilts, décor, and gift items, and intentionally kept small so retailers can easily adopt the entire line. TRICKS & TREATS features Halloween themes adapted from greeting cards. Witches, cats, owls and jack-o-lanterns are blended with black texture print bat design, a colorful stripe, and a double ring pattern in three colors. The blend of vintage artwork with classic coordinates broadens its appeal as well as its end uses.

A JOLLY CHRISTMAS is Edelen Wille’s yuletide collection, with classic Santa, gift and juvenile motifs. The red, green, and ivory tones have the same antique quality as the holiday cards and gift items that inspired them, with the larger designs lending themselves to appliqué and holiday craft projects.

Edelen Wille is run by two sisters-in-law, Fran Edelen Clegg and Cheryl Wille Clegg. The pair collects designs from old children’s books, transforming the images into framed art, calendars, journals and more. With the launch of the fabric collection for Marcus, the Edelen Wille customer can now incorporate quilts, pillows and other soft crafts into a room setting for a coordinated look.
