Industry veterans join VCP

2009 has been exciting at VCP as the company keeps growing and adjusting. Two new employees have recently been welcomed into the company. Margo Reid and Todd Sonsalla have recently joined the sales team and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with them.

In March of this year, Reid, with many years of experience, made the switch to VCP. Her start in the industry began some 25 years ago when Ray Lynch hired her in 1984 at Pioneer Tenn as an order picker/packer. When Lynch left Pioneer Tenn, Reid moved into sales and after approximately three years, she was asked to step into a leadership role and eventually became president.

In 1997, Reid accepted a job as a sales representative with ESSCO, which allowed her to work from home and spend more time with her son, who was young at the time. While she has changed companies over the years, she has a very strong following in the business and has been assisting some of the same customers since 1984. She hopes to continue serving them for a very long time. With her industry experience and product knowledge, she has brought many innovative ideas to VCP.

Sonsalla joined VCP in May and brings a wealth of knowledge in the central vacuum arena. Sonsalla comes from Electrolux Central Vacuum division where he spent over six years in various positions including territory sales rep, business development manager, and Eureka distribution manager. He will serve as regional account manager for all product lines with specific concentration to the central vacuum market. Sonsalla’s role will also include expanding VCP’s Aggresor brand, dealer network, along with the addition of the Panasonic Platinum Vacuum line in the California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico markets. Sonsalla’s overall sales experience and expertise in central vacuums will enhance VCP’s business.

Reid and Sonsalla have joined the close knit VCP family and will be great additions to this outstanding group.
