Industry Products Three Technologies, One advanced cleaner head The days of wall-to-wall carpet are over and so are the vacuums designed to clean them. With a variety of floor surfaces from deep pile shag to slate, it has been almost impossible to get the performance you need across all floor types. Until now. Dyson engineered DC28 Animal with patented Airmuscle™ technology to adjust precisely for your floor type. The advanced system combines three different technologies: a high-torque clutch, a powered cam and a pneumatic actuator, working from one surface to the next. Finally, technology made for a real home, even one with pets. While some vacuums rely on adding weight with cumbersome cleaner heads, DC28’s pneumatic actuator pulls the cleaner head into the floor, enabling the machine to capture dirt from deepest pile carpets. The advanced high-torque clutch pulls more power from the motor to deliver the force needed to drive the brush bar through carpets. The machine uses a powered cam to raise and lower the brush bar for different floor types, rather than the entire cleaner head like other vacuums, naturally moving from carpet to hard floors without compromising performance. Of course, like all Dyson vacuums, DC28 doesn’t lose suction, as proven by the internationally recognized IEC 60312 Cl 2.9 test standard. The latest Animal vacuum retails for $xxx and is available to all independent dealers. For more information on DC28 or Dyson, contact your territory sales manager or visit www.dyson.com.
