VACUFLO honored with two awards

The VACUFLO® Whisper Series of Central Vacuum Systems, manufactured by H-P Products, Inc., has been chosen as a Building Products magazine Top 100 Product for 2006. As one of the industry’s most prestigious awards, the Top 100 recognizes the top products that generated the most editorial inquiries.

Compiled by counting the editorial inquiries from Builder, Remodeling, Custom Home and Building Products magazines submitted by builders and customers, the Top 100 Awards is designed to distinguish the best products, decided by the readers. H-P Products represents the only central vacuum manufacturer to be honored this year.

“We are pleased to be awarded with such an honor. What makes the Top 100 different than other awards, is that it is based on the readers, our builders and customers, and this testifies to their interest in what we are most passionate,” said Greg Calderone, general manager of H-P Products’ Floorcare Division.                  

The VACUFLO Whisper Series is not the only product winning awards for the company though. The Hide-A-Hose retractable hose system, distributed by H-P Products, Inc., has been chosen as one of Pacific Coast Builder Conference’s (PCBC) Cool Products. Each year, PCBC chooses several products that have the “cool” factor that makes builder and buyers take notice, and showcase them at the show. Hide-A-Hose uses the suction power from the power unit and retracts the hose back into the wall, alleviating the need to store cumbersome hoses in the closet.
