Industry Products Embroidablock of the Month 2009 introduced at Quilt Market Note: The Embroidablock of the Month program 2009 from HoopSisters is now available to sewing machine dealers. The 10-month program is designed to bring foot traffic into the dealers store to give them multiple demonstration opportunities on their top-of-the-line embroidery machines. HoopSisters.com unveiled its Embroidablock of the Month 2009 quilt in Houston, TX, at Quilt Market. This complete program provides the dealer with everything needed to put on a successful program. The program includes a Teacher’s Tip Sheet advising what needs to be done one month prior to the first class, a list of items to stock in the store, a fabric requirement sheet, fabric and thread key, EQ6 file, a credit card permission form, a marketing flyer and more. The embroidery files come in five-inch and eight-inch block sizes and are multi-formatted for all machine brands. This is an exclusive program available only to sewing machine dealers until 2011. Embroidablock of the Month classes will enable quilters to produce perfect quilt blocks in the hoop of an embroidery machine and introduce embroiderers to quilting. The technique is unique, combining embroidery with piecing, quilting and decorative stitching. It is so easy to learn, even people, young or old who have never sewn before are easily hooked. The quilt designer is Annie Moody, co-founder of HoopSisters and former industry educator. Moody said, “Every machine dealer is constantly looking for new and different things for their embroidery customers and they are always trying to sell embroidery machines to quilters, which isn’t always easy. With our technique it shows quilters they NEED an embroidery machine and gives embroiderers a reason to upgrade to the top of the line machine with the big hoop.” For additional information on the 2009 Embroidablock of the Month Program, contact Annie Moody at annie@hoopsisters.com or visit www.hoopsisters.com. HoopSisters wholesales to sewing machine dealers and currently has 12 titles available. Reprinted from the SQE Professional, January 2009 |
