Laurastar creates “dream ironing system”
Laurastar introduced its new, completely re-designed pressing systems last year and the consumers just love them! The new look is hip, sleek, and attractive -- as far as an iron goes. Laurastar incorporated “wish lists” from consumer focus groups and created the ultimate “dream ironing system.”
Laurastar is the only steam generator pressing system that offers twice heated steam. Laurastar’s magic is the steam. The super-heated steam is created in the generator. As it travels through the hose and reaches the iron, it is heated again through baffles within the soleplate to bring it back up to a temperature that makes the steam micro-fine. Laurastar’s unique design specifically heats the steam all the while maintaining a constant soleplate temperature.
Micro-fine steam leaves the fabric or clothing dry and keeps it from re-wrinkling by using “dry” steam and not a lower temperature “wet” steam. Laurastar’s steam creates a professional look to all that is ironed. The new teardrop design of the soleplate of the iron is unique as it prevents accidentally pressing creases in the clothing.
Laurastar has four models in its line-up. Each one of these can be refilled without having to wait until the unit cools or the water is completely gone. And if that isn’t enough good news, tap water can be used, no matter how hard or soft it is, since each model has a built-in filter to create perfect ironing water. By filtering out the bad stuff and leaving in the good, the resulting water is something that will lengthen the life of the iron.
The two new Magic models have an active board that will either blow or vacuum. The Magic i-S5 is completely automatic and a breeze to use. The mere picking up of the iron activates the board to either blow or vacuum. The movement of the iron controls the steam -- the forward motion activates the steam and the backward motion is only heat to set the pressed fibers.
The S4, with its active board, allows users to activate the steam and the board when and how they want it. It too has a two-speed fan.
Both boards have been completely redesigned to be easier to fold away and with integrated wheels, it’s a snap to move.
The smaller portable generator, the SteamUp, has no active board but it does have the same magical steam the Magic models generate. This too comes in two models. The i-G5 has steam that activates automatically just like the i-S5, steaming in a forward motion and heat only in a backward motion. This can be refilled anytime during since it has the same water refill capabilities and the same filtering system within the reservoir as the Magic models. The SteamUp G4 has the same micro-fine steam as the other models, but is only activated when needed.
