Janome America showcases three new machines at 2007 VDTA/SDTA Show

Janome America will showcase three new machines at the 2007 VDTA/SDTA Show, booth #501. The Xpression, Memory Craft 350E and MB-4 are the latest in a line of innovative products that bring superior quality and ease of use to the sewing enthusiast.

“Our Xpression is like no other machine on the market, our Memory Craft 350 is better than ever and the MB-4 is an incredible step forward in the industrial machine category,” said Randy Thomas, senior vice president, Janome America, Inc. “With a line-up like this, we can’t help but be excited.”

The Xpression machine allows the sewist to discover the ancient art of felting made simple. One of today’s hottest crafting trends, needle felting, is accomplished by placing two or more layers of material under felting needles and using the needles to enmesh the materials together. The result is a unique effect that can’t be duplicated by any other method. Xpression can be used to create fabrics for apparel or home decoration, embellish designs, decorate garments, and create fashionable one-of-a-kind accessories.

The Memory Craft 350, a dedicated embroidery machine, makes it easer than ever to create professional-looking embroidery at home. With an automatic thread cutter, USB port for importing designs, faster microprocessor and more accurate editing tools, projects get done quicker and with more precision. Designs are easy to import, edit and move to desired positions, meaning it’s easy enough for a beginner, but has the sophisticated options that would appeal to an experienced user.

The MB-4 is the “World’s First” home use, industrial-type four needle, embroidery only machine. With a memory capability of 1.5M stitches or 100 designs, the MB-4 features the sophistication, speed and technology of an industrial machine yet its lightweight and compact enough for home use.
