Haka Sewing Furniture introduces its “Tall Boy” mobile storage cabinet

Haka Sewing Furniture takes storage (and pressing) convenience to a new level with its mobile, multi-tasking IB-1000 Storage Cabinet with optional pull-out folding ironing board. The 54-inch high, 22-inch deep, 22-inch wide cabinet has seven generous size, smooth-sliding drawers with an optional ironing board in place of the middle drawer. The bottom drawer is file-sized.

Drawing on over 18 years of experience in designing and manufacturing customer-inspired sewing and craft furniture, Haka owner and president, Lauri Saarinen noted, “Sewers and quilters need help taming the clutter…the multitude of specialty notions, stabilizers and threads, fat quarters, etc. We designed the ‘Tall Boy’ with that in mind – we maxed out the potential of its big ‘foot print’ by going ‘up.’ To enhance its practicality, we put it on casters so it can be repositioned, as needed, when ironing. And there’s no need to waste valuable floor space with a standard ironing board. When the ironing board ‘drawer’ is closed, it’s a sleek looking quality piece of furniture that looks good in any room.”

• -A 371/2” x 113/4” pull-out folding ironing board – epoxy-coated steel with a heat-resistant striped fabric-covered ironing surface. Replacement ironing board cover available.
• -Seven colors to choose from – three solids and four woodgrains.
• -A central locking system.
• -A thread organizer and a notions organizer – sturdy white plastic drawer inserts keep everything organized and dust-free.

The “Tall Boy” is the latest addition to Haka’s mobile storage solutions: 300 Low Storage Cabinet (four drawers, 28 inches, 29 inches, or 30 inches high) and 300 High Storage Cabinet (five drawers, 34 inches high) -- both 22 inches deep by 22 inches wide, with an optional ironing board feature in place of the top drawer.
