Blueair to show new personal AirPod air purifier at 2007 VDTA Show
Vacuum dealers attending the VDTA/SDTA 2007 Trade Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in February will be able to complement their product line by adding the new Blueair AirPod™ personal air purifier and full line of in-room air purifiers to their product mix.
The new AirPod™ air purifier is the only portable air purifier on the market that lets consumers create their own “Personal Clean AirZone.” The AirPod™ is so compact you can take it wherever you go or place it wherever you have some extra space. The patented AirPod™ air purifier design is stripped down to its essential components, the unique HEPASilent™ filter and the docking station. The docking station also houses an electrostatically charged ionizer and power unit.
“The AirPod concept was born from the idea that people want to breathe cleaner air wherever they happen to be,” said Bengt Rittri, president and founder of Blueair. “We set out to create a portable, personal air purifier that is highly effective, extremely compact, eco-friendly, good looking and light weight for optimum mobility.”
Another unique attribute of the AirPod™ is its personalization feature that allows the consumer to individualize their unit by choosing a filter design and accent color for the docking station. Initially, consumers can select one of three different filter designs and one of three different accent colors.
The AirPod™ joins the Blueair family of eco-friendly air purifiers that are available at specialty retail stores across the U.S. and Canada. Suggested retail price is $99.99.
Blueair will also be showcasing its full line of air purifiers, the Model 201, 250E, 402, 501 and 601 with room capacities ranging up to 680 square feet, during the VDTA Show. All air purifiers in the Blueair family have earned the ENERGY STAR designation for energy efficient operation.
