Stealth II now available from MD Manufacturing
For 14 years MD Manufacturing has been offering the central vacuum market a bullet-proof powerbrush to ensure the best possible cleaning for the discriminating buyer. The brush has had a lifetime warranty on the belt and even a $100 bounty on the first belt to ever break. It has offered unique features such as rubber-cushioned ball bearings on the roller where all other brushes have only metal sleeves. It was the first brush on the market utilizing a chevron-designed bristle that drew objects toward the center and then released them into the airflow without allowing threads to get caught on the roller. It also was the first brush to contain a micro-processor to identify that the user was operating it at the proper height adjustment and alert the user when it was incorrect.
Now MD offers an enhanced version that has added the convenience of a quick-release connection at the base of the brush allowing rapid brush removal for spot-cleaning. In fact, the connections from the new wand to the brush have a brass connection that is recessed 5.7 millimeters verses the standard three millimeter recession, reducing the possibility of arcing that has plagued many other brushes offering this feature.
The new stainless steel extension wand boasts of a hidden electrical cord channel that tucks neatly behind the telescopic connection.
“This feature alone shows tremendous forethought,” stated MD Manufacturing General Manager Grant Olewiler.
The unsightly cord is completely invisible. The wand is produced in Germany and has included an ergonometrically designed disconnect button, allowing any user to quickly disconnect the hose from the wand.
“Previous wands have always presented a challenge to elderly and those with small hands so we paid close attention to this requirement for our new wand,” added Olewiler. “CV users can get frustrated at the smallest little inconvenience so we made sure that this feature solved the connection issue.”
The Stealth II comes in a complete kit that includes a crushproof 1 3/8-inch diameter hose that is either 30 or 35 feet long and with either direct-connect prongs or an eight-foot pigtail. It can also be adapted to fit any existing inlet valve ever produced. Additional utensils include a 14-inch horsehair bristle floor tool, quality dusting brush, upholstery tool, crevice tool and crevice brush.
