MD Manufacturing to offer complete Central Vacuum Training Track at VDTA 2007
Due to the expanding interest in central vacuums from the vacuum industry, MD Manufacturing has announced that it will offer a comprehensive training-track designated for central vacuums in conjunction with the VDTA Show in Las Vegas February 21-23, 2007. Specific classes will begin with Basic Installation and progress through Large Home Installation and Existing Home Installation. A full course on Marketing and Selling Central Vacuums will explore time-proven cost-effective methods. A class on Central Vacuum Technical Theory will explore deep into the industry and Central Vacuum Service will have a class of its own. Lastly a class on the Future of the Central Vacuum Industry will both alert you to new trends in the industry and new products available to the entire market.
If you have attended MD’s VDTA Training Classes at VDTA over the past 24 years, you won’t want to miss this track. They are always fact-filled, action-packed, humorous and generically based. This track will offer two complete mornings of solid central vacuum education unsurpassed in the industry. MD has previously only offered this track for its own dealers but recognizes the power of great information in the hands of the entire industry.
Pre-register for this track and you will receive a complete bound training manual. The seminars will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 and 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.
“We expect to provide almost 50 pages of training information to be a part of this program,” stated Mike Kretsinger, vice president of dealer sales.
“Because portable vacuum dealers see their market being squeezed by the big box retailers, most of them are shifting to central vacuums as a strong source of reliable revenue,” stated Grant Olewiler, general manager of MD Manufacturing. “The VDTA is a tremendous resource to quick ramp-up for dealers who recognize the need for this shift.”
MD Manufacturing has been offering seminars annually at VDTA since 1983 and is recognized for their ability to educate in a hands-on manner. Their www.centralvacuum.com Web site has become the industry’s portal for information with over 5,000 pages. Their products are sold under the brands of AirForce, Silent Master, Modern Day, FloMaster, and Stealth.
