Beam Serenity® QS™ The next generation of central vacuum systems

Beam Industries is taking cleaning power, indoor air quality, quiet performance and style to the next level in 2007 with the new Beam Serenity® QS™ Power Unit and its companion Beam Q™ electric power brush, hose and cleaning tools.

The stunning metallic alloy power unit of the Beam Serenity QS is equipped with an air watts motor, designed specifically for central vacuum system application. It produces up to 640 air watts of cleaning power – approximately 10 to 20 percent more cleaning power than competitive systems – to remove more dust, dirt and allergens from the home than ever before. The Serenity QS is about more than cleaning power. It includes a number of features that will set new standards for central vacuum systems:
• Exclusive to the Serenity QS is an anti-microbial dirt collection receptacle, a central vacuum industry first. The smoke-tinted, translucent receptacle is lined with Alpha San, an agent that offers greater indoor air quality protection by preventing the formation and growth of mold.
• Another exclusive feature is the self-cleaning, lifetime warranted CleanStream™ Filtration System by the makers of Gore-Tex® fabrics. The filter traps dust on a thin surface membrane then sheds it into the collection receptacle when the unit is turned off. The Gore technology assures maximum air flow so the filter completely repels collected dust assuring that it “works like new every time” and never needs replacing.

Joining the Serenity QS Power Unit is the Beam Q Power Team™, which includes the central vacuum system’s hose, electric power brush and attachments.

The electric power brush motor is driven by a unique Poly V belt that assures years of reliable, quiet cleaning performance. Designed for maximum cleaning performance on widely different flooring surfaces and varying carpet thicknesses, the Beam Q’s electric power brush includes a height adjustment lever. The titanium and silver-sport colored power brush’s rubberized wheels also assure maximum protection of finishes on wood, cork, bamboo, vinyl and other hard floor surfaces. An LED headlight offers improved visibility and its lightweight D-shaped hose handle and wands assure the user will experience greater comfort during cleaning.

The Beam Q Power Team also will include lighted Premier Tools. The tool set includes a crevice tool, three brushes of varying bristle length and coarseness, and a bare floor brush that features a full swivel handle.
