Panasonic debuts new Performance Plus Platinum Line of OptiFlow™ Canister Vacuums

Panasonic recently announced the debut of its Performance Plus Platinum Line of OptiFlow canister vacuums. The new line incorporates Panasonic’s exclusive OptiFlow technology, which extends the life of the vacuums’ bags by creating better suction as the bag fills with dust and dirt. In addition, the vacuums are feature-packed and designed with the modern house in mind, coming in a variety of colors to match their sleek, aerodynamic designs.

“Panasonic’s OptiFlow technology saves busy consumers money and energy with the highly efficient bag chamber,” said Gino Iacovella, national marketing manager for vacuums, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. “The chamber allows air to flow freely, increasing suction throughout the life of the bag. This is just one of the features that make our new bagged canister vacuums so effective and easy to use.”

The flagship offering in the bagged canister line, the MC-CG985, is a Performance Plus Platinum Line model with top-of-the-line features including a powerful 12 amp motor, 28-foot cord and eight foot hose, dirt sensor, electronic performance indicator, bare floor cleaning, easy-to-reach power switch on handle, power control on handle, HEPA filtration telescoping wand and on-board tools (floor brush, combo brush and crevice tool) that store easily within the vacuum’s body. The MC-CG985 also includes an OptiFlow bag chamber, which not only improves suction throughout the life of the bag, but contains the vacuum bag in an easy-to-handle caddy, making bag disposal easier than ever.

The other models in the Performance Plus Platinum line, model number MC-CG983 and model number MC-CG887, also include OptiFlow technology as well as other features -- such as the power switch on handle, electronic performance indicator, bare floor cleaning and on-board tools -- that make Panasonic bagged canister vacuums so easy to use. HEPA filtration also helps keep a home’s allergens to a minimum.
