Glenn Eisel joins Steel City Vacuum Company

Steel City Vacuum Company is pleased to announce the addition of Glenn Eisel to its staff. In his new position, Eisel will be joining the sales team.

“Glenn’s sales experience and industry knowledge make a great combination for Steel City Vacuum to add another layer of excellent customer service for our clients. We are happy to have him on board,” said Pat Bocka, national sales manager.

Eisel brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise spanning more than 30 years in the floor care industry. He started his career at one of the largest vac shops in the Pittsburgh, PA, area and after just one year, was hired by a Pittsburgh Hoover service center. There, he managed the dealer parts program, spearheaded the central vac program and installations, and broadened his scope of technical knowledge about the many brands of floor care equipment that the facility serviced. As Hoover developed new sales opportunities for commercial carpet cleaning, Eisel was an integral part of operating that program and training.

Under his direction, the service center became one of the top centers in the country -- a notable achievement from a field of 75 stores. Eisel also received a Hoover Achievement Award for outstanding participation in 2002.

“I’ve known Steel City Vacuum Company since 1975 when my first job in the vacuum cleaner business was to purchase parts. I am very pleased to be working for them in this new capacity,” stated Eisel.

Eisel resides in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife and three children. His interests include serving as the coordinator of the local Leukemia Society fundraiser each year, sports, landscaping and working on cars.
