H-P Products introduces Optimair
H-P Products, Inc. introduces Optimair™, a unique, multi-patented furnace filtration system which eliminates the need for regular filter replacement for up to one year. Offering homeowners lower energy costs, improved indoor air quality, and minimal maintenance, the Optimair system is designed to automatically advance the filter (manual advancement optional) to ensure that the airflow and filter are continuously clean.
Indoor air quality has become an increasingly popular concern for homeowners. By automatically advancing the filter, Optimair protects from harmful indoor air pollutants that may otherwise exhaust through a dirty or old filter into the home. A convenient and cost-efficient solution for homeowners, the Optimair system features: self-engaging, fully automatic operation; an easy-to-read display; detachable control board; manual override/operation and memory recovery in case of power outage; adjustable filtration level; quick connect and upgradeable control box; integral rubber gasket; childproof control buttons; and horizontal or vertical placement flexibility.
The Optimair system is designed to work with an existing one-inch slide-in panel filter. The system consists of 7/8-inch aluminum frame housing rollers that slide inside the existing one-inch filter channel and act as a guide for the filter media which lasts up to two years. The media is automatically advanced over the frame and is collected on a 24-volt AC, gear-driven, motorized, take-up reel. Enclosed is a plastic cover mounted externally to the duct, the take-up reel is controlled by an integral PCB which has external controls on the top surface of the drive unit.
Optimair is extremely easy to install. Replacement filters are only sold through authorized dealers so there is NO threat of competition from big box retailers.
The Optimair system is currently available in four common sizes: 16”x20”, 16”x25”, 20”x20”, and 20”x25”. Two basic filter media types are available: 1) the Standard which filters approximately 70 percent of particulates at one micron, and 2) the Ultra which filters approximately 90 percent of particulates at one micron. With Optimair homeowners will never have to worry about clogged or dirty air filters.
