Beam promotes three to VP positions

Hartley, Hybel, Runyan cited for contributions to market leadership

Central vacuum system manufacturer Beam Industries announces the promotions of Larry Hartley as vice president of U.S. marketing, Lars Hybel as vice president of international and Paul Runyan to vice president of U.S. sales.

“Larry, Lars and Paul have been instrumental in helping Beam Central Vacuum Systems become the central vacuum industry market leader in the U.S. and internationally,” said Russ Minick, president. “We look forward to their continued leadership in taking our product category from niche to mainstream and to building our brand equity around the world.”

Hartley has been with Beam for five years, including the last two-and-a-half years as director of marketing. Before coming to Beam, Hartley served in key sales and marketing roles for companies in the automotive and lighting industries.

A native of Denmark, Hybel joined Beam as director of international sales in 1999 and has played a key role in establishing Beam Central Vacuum Systems distributorships in nearly 50 countries around the world.

Runyan also joined Beam Industries in 1999 as the national sales manager and brought with him extensive domestic and international experience in the home appliance industry. For the past two years, he has served as general manager of U.S. sales.
