Creative Grids® Square It Up & Fussy Cut Rulers

Cutting fabric to showcase a particular design in the fabric is called fussy cutting. This technique adds drama and eye appeal to any project. The Creative Grids® Square It Up & Fussy Cut Ruler makes the process quick and easy.

To fussy cut, center a design in the solid squares -- printed in 1” increments. The drilled holes at the ½” markings between the squares lets you mark and add the seam allowance to your fussy cut piece.

Use the vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines to square up any pieced, appliquéd or embroidered block. Machine embroiderers and appliquers are buying them in every size to square up their finished blocks. You won’t know how you lived without them!

The fussy cut rulers that were released last year have been so popular that two new square sizes and a rectangle and triangle were recently added to the line up. The Square It Up & Fussy Cut square rulers sizes include: 6½” (CGRSQ6); 8½” (CGRSQ8); 9½” (CGRSQ9); 12½” (CGRSQ12) 14½” (CGRSQ14) and 16½” (CGRSQ16) sizes. The rectangle is 4½” x 8½” (CGRSR48) and triangle is 6½” (CGRST65).
