New patterns from Islander Sewing Systems

Islander Sewing Systems has introduced two new patterns, the City Western Shirt #211 and the City Western Blouse #210.

The City Western Shirt, designed by Janet Pray, combines the traditional Western details with new, stylish features for an all American, modern upscale look. The chevron appearance of the split back yoke gives a couture look and can be dressed up or down depending on the fabric choice. Snap closures add the Western look or a more conventional buttonhole option can be chosen.

The City Western Blouse, also designed by Janet Pray, allows the sewer to choose between a simple raw edge appliqué and a topstitched sporty finish for the yoke and cuff areas. These patterns are ideal for plaids or the sewer can use classic stripes for striking results.
