Charger 2717 DB Battery Burnisher

The next generation Charger 2717 DB battery burnisher from NSS Enterprises, Inc. offers the productivity and shine of a 27-inch propane without the maintenance costs, repair hassles, safety risks, environmental issues, and noise.

Building off the success of its predecessor, the Charger 2716 DB Plus, this newly designed Charger offers numerous benefits. The machine is simple to use, with no operator adjustment required. With 70 to 80 pounds of pad pressure, a consistently brilliant, high gloss shine is ensured.

A unique feature of the machine is the hinged head assembly, which flips up 90 degrees from the operating position. This permits convenient pad changes in a standing position. It also makes the machine more compact for storage when not in use.

Because of lower maintenance requirements compared to propane machines, owners of these new Chargers can reduce their out-of-pocket operating costs. Less maintenance also means less machine downtime and fewer hassles from the equipment being out for service.

The machine’s batteries, a clean power source with no toxic exhaust or unpleasant odors, provide up to three hours of constant run time. Safety issues related to outdoor storage of propane tanks and burns from hot engines during operation are not a concern with the battery powered Charger. Additionally, the Charger’s enhanced Vac-Trac dust collection system means cleaner operation and, compared to propane machines, reduced wax dust buildup on furnishings, merchandise, and in HVAC filters.

The operating sound level of the machine is 71 dBA -- lower than a propane machine’s typical 85 dBA noise level -- meaning the Charger is less disruptive to customers and co-workers.

For ease of operation and maneuverability, the machine’s variable speed wheel drive propels the machine in both forward and reverse. Eliminated is the torque produced by propane burnishers with pad-assisted propulsion systems, and the resulting operator fatigue.

The nearly vibration-free engine also improves operator comfort. Highly productive, the Charger will cover nearly 100,000 square feet per charge.
