The Bank Vacuum

The Ultimate Dealer Vacuum offered by well, a Dealer!

People in business hope to be successful in business. Greg Bank has found a way to do it twice in the floor care industry!

In the early ‘90s Greg and his brother built a chain of floor care stores, in and around the Detroit, MI, area, into a multi-million dollar company. What is the secret to his success? Greg would say, “Consistant advertising with enough stores to absorb the cost; good employees; clean and well merchandised stores; the right products to sell; and consistantly ‘creating a need’ for customers.”

In Greg's Michigan stores, the Royal Upright Vacuum was the key product to "creating a need" for his customers. So much so that in 1994 Greg bought a million dollars worth of the Royal vacuums!

Fast forward to today. Greg has since sold his share of the Michigan stores to his brother. Greg now owns and operates six stores on the Gulf Coast of Florida called Tops Vacuum & Sewing. Tops is a multi-million dollar company in its own right.

At Tops, Greg's new key product for "creating a need" was the Simplicity S20. This is not to say that Tops only carries and sells Simplicity products. Tops carries all popular brands and is a very large dealer with Miele as well. When asked, Greg is quick to say that Miele is his premium product. The S20, however, was the perfect product because of features and retail price.

And although Tops has sold thousands of S20's, the S20 has been the perfect segue into higher-end Simplicity machines, Miele machines, and other premium vacuum sales as well as floor scrubbers and steam mop sales.

Approximately one year ago Greg became concerned. His key product, the S20, was being discontinued. Deciding there was nothing currently available to quickly and easily replace the S20, Greg decided to pursue private labeling this vacuum. The investment was extensive but worth it in his opinion. And so The Bank Vacuum was born. The investment would ensure the continued success of Tops Vacuum & Sewing.

So how has Tops been so successful with this vacuum? Easy, the salespeople "create a need." When a customer comes into a Tops store, whether it is for bags, a belt, to drop off a repair, etc, the salespeople are trained to ask, "Do you have carpet and barefloors?"

The question really is rhetorical because everyone has both carpet (or rugs) and barefloors.

The follow up to the question is, "Watch this!" and a quick demonstration of how the powerful performance of this vacuum combined with the lightweight German power nozzle quickly and easily goes from carpet, to rugs and then barefloors, sweeping up the sand in one pass! After the demonstration, you plant the seed: "This is what you should consider for your next vacuum!" By consistently using this simple process of creating a need, the law of average always works in your favor.

Greg is so confident in the Bank Vacuum and his proven process of "creating a need," he has decided to open distribution of the Bank Vacuum to independent floor care dealers.

The Bank Vacuum is a quality canister that is eye catching with its metalic silver finish and black trim. It features a 1200 watt variable speed motor, rubber wheels, cordreel, multi-layer filter bag system, S-Class HEPA, crush-proof hose with power nozzle on/off switch, power nozzle "parking," telescopic wand system, and a six-piece attachment set (three of which store on the machine).

All these features plus a state-of-the-art German combination carpet/barefloor power nozzle! This lightweight, state-of-the-art power nozzle features a lifetime cogged belt system, which is protected by electronic shut-off, full swivel neck system, rubber wheels and squeegee. The Bank Vacuum box was designed to be attractive and assist in the sales process with key features listed.

All Bank Vacuum dealers will be trained in the proven process of "creating a need" and will receive point of purchase materials such as literature and a training DVD. List price for The Bank Vacuum is $xxx but will be Non-Internet.

This will ensure profit to Bank Vacuum Dealers. The Bank Vacuum has attractive and unique "package" pricing to Bank dealers.
