A company has been contacting the VDTA/SDTA exhibitors pretending to be the VDTA Events Coordinator to see how many rooms they need for the VDTA show.
This is a scam. They are not affiliated with VDTA/SDTA whatsoever.
The number they gave one vendor goes back to a "Housing Services" company. From what I understand, many times they will tell you they can get you fantastic rates at a great hotel. They will ask for payment in advance and then on the day of arrival, they might call and tell you that the hotel is oversold and they will need to move you to another hotel.
To book rooms for the VDTA/SDTA Show, please use the links on our web site for the hotels we list or call using the phone numbers we have provided. www.vdta.com has all the information necessary to book your rooms.
