About 25 years ago Cindy Siriani, founder and president of Siriani & Associates, realized that there was a need for more affordable freight costs for the medium to smaller companies that don’t have the shipping power to negotiate such prices alone. It was at this time that she went to a large national carrier and proposed that they put together a pricing policy for a large group of retailers (a trade association), who together, had a lot of shipping power.
