Les Industries Trovac Ltée (ITL) was founded in 1960 by Jacques Bruneau, a seasoned expert in the field of central vacuum cleaners, who believed he could distribute a better central vacuum cleaner than what was currently available on the market.

It didn’t take long to confirm this assumption, and the rapid growth of ITL, a family-run company, led to a number of major developments. Eventually, ITL decided to concentrate its activities exclusively on the design, manufacturing and marketing of quality central vacuum power units.

In 1976, the Cyclo Vac brand was launched, making quite an impression with its burgundy color, high performance and remarkably low noise level. The revolutionary design, impressive capabilities and undeniable reliability of Cyclo Vac central vacuum power units took the market by storm.

One successful launch followed another. Over the years, ITL products became synonymous with the highest standards of quality and reliability – A fact reflected in all the different models the company still produces today.

Manufacturing a quality product is one thing, distribution is another. In 1989, Cyclo Vac opens its first distribution center in Bristish Columbia, Canada, quickly followed by the opening of offices and distribution center in Treffieux France in 1990.

To make sure the end-user receives the full benefit of these advantages, Cyclo Vac products are distributed and installed exclusively by qualified teams of professionals who can provide all the right answers and the sound advice needed by a diversified clientele.

In 1997, as the company grew quite rapidly, larger facilities were constructed in Blainville, Québec. To supply the ever increasing demand for Cyclo Vac products now shipped world-wide, the head office and manufacturing complex have since been expanded from 30,000 to 75,000 square feet, with 11 shipping docks. Even their affiliated offices and warehouse in France underwent major expansions recently.

Today, Marc Bruneau, son of Jacques, is the sole shareholder and president of Les Industries Trovac. ITL is still a family-type business, whose success is built on innovation, quality service and constant product improvement. This formula for success has made the company a leading manufacturer of central vacuum power units in Canada and a rising star on the international market.
