Buckeye Vacuum Cleaner Supply Co. was founded in 1929 by Samuel S. Strauss — whose slogan “Supplies that Satisfy” is still used today. Seventy-six years later, the people of Buckeye try to live up to the same ideal in both quality and service.

Kenard G. Strauss, current president and owner of Buckeye, was raised in the industry. His first job was sweeping floors. With age came experience and every facet of the industry was learned, including rebuilding vacuum cleaners, filling orders, taking orders, and eventually in 1956, moving into management and product development. Buckeye is the only distributor that is owned and operated by the same family that founded the company.  

With a management team of over 120 years of experience and two locations, Buckeye and Northwest are  known as  full service distributors, carrying original equipment and parts  for all major name manufacturers and even the lesser known brands. What sets them apart is their thousands of unique integral parts, all of which are essential to the profitability of your business. Buckeye is constantly striving to offer its customers new and innovative parts, having OEM quality at replacement prices. They now have over 600 parts manufactured exclusively for Buckeye from their tooling.

Buckeye also presently has equipment sold under their Trademark names: Dust Care, Evolution and Lil-Sucker.

Uprights, canisters, electric brooms, commercial uprights and backpack vacuums as well central vacuums make up the assortment of 20 pieces of equipment.
